Pastel Workshop
with Jin An Wong

At SKEA on Saturday, March 18 noon - 3 pm

A favorite medium of many famous artists such as Leonardo da Vinci and Edgar Degas, pastels create rich colors and leave a soft, beautiful surface. This introductory workshop will teach you the techniques of using pastels to create a still life painting.
Arne Jin An Wong is an award winning artist, animator, and filmmaker. Visit his website to view his work in animation, graphic design, and painting.

Tuition is $25 for SKEA members and $30 for non-members, and includes all materials.
Early Bird Discount! Everyone registering by Monday, March 13, will receive the member rate.

Brazilian Zouk Dancing
at SKEA on Thursdays in February, 2016 6:45–7:45PM $10.

Marie Alonzo Snyder is the founder and artistic director of Zouk hi, Tangerine Dance Collective, a NY Times acclaimed dancer and choreographer, as well as an international scholar, author and educator.
All workshops are at SKEA, Captain Cook, Hawaii.

Gyrokinesis with Joe Hinton
A complete individualized exercise and movement plan developed by Juliu Horvath, a professional dancer. Gyrokinesis uses fluid dance-like movements designed to work the entire body through spinal movements. Gain flexibility, stability, and mobility through arch, curls, and spirals. Accessible for all abilities. Your core is dynamically strengthened, allowing you to regain your youthful posture and full range of motion.
